RIVERS: when the feather lands

 when the feather lands

when the feather lands

when silence drops

in a room full of people,

in the eyes of 3 lovers,

in the depths of my soul,

visions of possibility arise

from the how we’re being together

when life floats back

like blood through my veins

contexts connect, weaving through what was out of words

before, forever, never again as in this most precious of moments

held by the space we are tending

moments when the feather lands

as rare as chocolate chunks in banana bread,

as rare as a smile of a stranger on a lonely road,

as rare as the blossoming of my favourite flower

until we see we can tune into seasons, be the first ones to smile, throw in chunks ourselves.

Love, appreciation for all life that surrounds me these days.
